Dr. Jones, DVM

Dr. Jones graduated from Oklahoma State University Veterinary School in 2017 (Go Cowboys!). Her and her husband moved to Kansas when he was hired as a veterinary parasitologist at Kansas State University (Go Wildcats!). They share their home with 2 dogs: River and Rio, and 4 tortoises: Lentil, Garbanzo, Lima, and Diablo. She loves preventative medicine and educating pet parents on how to best keep their pets healthy throughout their lives. In her free time she enjoys gardening, traveling, hiking and scuba diving!

Dr. Litfin, DVM

My name is Dr. Gail Litfin. I am the veterinarian at Lifelong Pet Health Care. I have been practicing veterinary medicine for over 35 years. I was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. I graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture and earned my degree in veterinary medicine in 1986. My passion is to build long-term relationships through an informed and nurturing family-style setting where the client can make educated decisions for their pet’s wellness and care. I am married and have two children, two grandchildren, and one fur baby. When I am not caring for my dog Autumn, I’m enjoying my time with family and friends, outdoor activities, and traveling.

Dana Williams, Lead Veterinary Technician

After completing of the Vet Tech program at Colby Community College, I began my career at LPHC in Oct. 1987. The “hands-on” part of my job has always been challenging and rewarding. The advances in veterinary medicine and in technology through my years of practice have allowed me to continually improve the quality of the care I can provide as a technician. Being a part of the lives of our wonderful clients and their pets remains very satisfying.

My husband, Drexel, and I share our home with a rescued calico cat, Paya, and Golden Retriever, Zandy. In addition to walking Z, I also enjoy watching Chiefs football, reading novels, trying new recipes, and dreaming of my next beach vacation.

Skye Doty, Hospital Manager

Hello! I have been a part of the Lifelong family since May 2nd, 2012. I absolutely love being here and taking care of not only our patients but clients as well! I am dedicated to providing amazing customer service as well as educating our clients on the health and well-being of their fur babies.

My husband Alex, our daughter Temperance, and I have opened our home in Berryton to many animals over the years. We have a small hobby-funny farm. We stay active with our critters and all the activities our daughter participates in. In my downtime, I enjoy reading, crocheting, and a variety of crafting/ upcycling projects.

Cassi Adams, Practice Manager

I graduated from Colby Kansas in 2010 where I got my Registered Veterinary Technician degree. After that I worked in general practice for about 9 years then I moved to Colorado Springs, CO. I started working in Emergency where I fine tuned my advanced skills and then eventually moved into a leadership role for the overnight team. I realized at that point I loved mentorship and leadership and dabbled in some Practice Manager positions in Colorado and Kansas. I am currently in school to get my Certified Veterinary Practice Manager certification. In my personal life I have a beautiful 8-year-old named Elena, 3 mutts and 1 hermit crab. I love running, hiking and being outside.

Cheyanne Hutchinson, Lead Receptionist

I joined the Lifelong team in May 2021 to pursue a career involving my love for animals. I grew up in a country outside of Lebo, KS. We always had horses, dogs, the occasional cow, and a barn cat or 2 running around.

I am always excited to learn new things, so I have set my future goal to become a Registered Veterinary Technician. I look forward to being able to further help our patients as well as educate our clients.

I live in the country outside of Topeka with my daughter Dixie, son Austin, and our 2 chihuahuas, Dutchess and Odie. We enjoy spending time together watching movies, playing games, being outdoors, and spending time with family.

Becky Harrison, Receptionist

I enjoy working at LPHC and meeting all our great clients and their fun pets!!

In my off time, I enjoy reading, going to the movies, shopping, planting/growing flowers, and hanging out with my friends.

Meredith Perry, Veterinary Assistant

Meredith has been working in the veterinary field for 10 years. She loves taking care of everyone’s fur babies as if they were her own. She enjoys traveling with her husband and their 2 cats, Wasabi and Wonton, and a turtle named Mr. T that brings her so much happiness! In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, and time outdoors. 

Jimmy Longstaff, Kennel Assistant

I am currently a senior at Hayden High School.

LPHC has been my home away from home since I was born. In fact, Lifelong was my first stop when my parents left the hospital with me. I have come to work with my mom ever since. I became an “official” member of the team in 2018.

Brandon Higgins, Kennel Assistant

I escaped from Azkaban (I graduated from Ottawa High School) in 2012. I moved to Topeka to attend Washburn University. I am studying Psychology.

I enjoy books (especially Harry Potter), video games, and movies. Nature is considered my habitat as I enjoy my solitude with my 2 rescue cats (Harry & Foxey), who were actually born at LPHC in the massive old oak tree that used to be in the front yard. They were able to be rescued from the tree just a few days before a severe storm took down the tree.

I joined the team here in 2015.

Moni Longstaff, Kennel Assistant

I have been with LPHC since February 2000. My full-time job has been in the Early Education field since March 1988.

My husband Jim and I were married in April 1996, and we have a son Jimmy. We have 2 dogs, a cat, a horse, and a fish.

I am blessed to work with a great team here at Lifelong.
